Who We Work With

Eskolta draws upon the practices that have helped the most effective transfer schools to reach students who had once been at risk of dropping out. We work with schools, districts, and nonprofit organizations on a variety of research and design projects.

Schools

Eskolta specializes in supporting urban public schools serving the hardest-to-reach students with a focus on older students. In particular, we work with schools to better serve over-age high school and middle school students in New York City who have fallen behind and are at risk of dropping out.

Districts

Eskolta works extensively with the New York City Department of Education to understand the needs and perspective of educators who are serving the hardest-to-reach middle and high school students. Eskolta also provides some degree of guidance and support to other school districts focusing on this population.

Nonprofits

Eskolta works with nonprofit organizations that partner with public schools to serve the hardest-to-reach high school and middle school students, particularly students in New York City schools who have fallen behind and are at risk of dropping out.
